My weekend in pictures..

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine went a little something like this:

I did laundry (not my actual  laundry) but this pictures was not too far from it.

My awesome husband let me sleep in a little and it got to the point that I was just too happy to be sleeping to sleep.. go figure.

I got my nails and feet done and yes this is actually me. I love this color and this was the high point  of my weekend.

I was to lazy to actually write something, so  this is it. Hey, it was a rough Monday and I. am. tired. So, on that note, how was your weekend?

A little bit of this and that

 Hi  Everyone,

I hope  you all had a great weekend. Hard to believe we  are starting a brand new month. It seems like April practically flew by. How was everyone's Easter? I know, I know that seems like it was ages ago, but it was only last week. Well, ours was very nice and relaxing. Ralphy  had an Easter egg hunt at school that he enjoyed very much. We went to church and spent some time with family.

The high light of this past week was that Ralphy took his official pre- school class picture.  He came out so serious ( he was not having a good morning  that morning because he wanted to watch another episode of his favorite show and couldn't because we were running late) but it came out cute non the less. I can't wait to get it.

This weekend was about doing some major cleaning. It needed to be done. I like to start of the week with a nice clean apartment. I managed to get all that done  yesterday and today was all about prepping meals for the week and relaxing.

I want to also take this opportunity to  apologize. April was not a good blogging month for me.   I will try to do better. Actually, April was a horrible month, I only posted 3 times, Yikes!

What did you  guys do? Any special plans or goals   your setting for your self for the the month of May?

Hope you all have a wonderful start to the week.

That is all for now.

Xoxoxo

Unwanted Break

I know, I know I have  been missing in action for the last week. I have been having major Internet issues with my cable company ( Thank you Comcast)  and I have no time at work to blog or post or go the bathroom for that matter, but I digress.

What has been happening for the last week? Well, first my munchkin had a birthday last Friday and he had  a wonderful day. I had a little party for him at school and he had a wonderful time.  Not only was mommy and daddy there, but also, uncle, Titi, the grandmas and cousins. He was happy.

Then during the weekend, we had a party at Ralphy's  favorite park.  I made a Toy Story themed birthday because Ralphy is obsessed with Woody and Buzz, so really there was no other option in the matter..

The kids had a blast in the playground, daddy bought a cool 3D kite and  Ralphy had a blast flying it with daddy and grandpa. The boys, and by boys I mean all the grown men, played basketball . My baby had a great birthday with his family and friends. Mommy's mission was accomplished.

He looks mad in this picture, but that's only because he wanted cake already lol.

I'm sorry again that I've been missing. Its all Comcast's fault ( Yeah, I said it) and they really do need to get it together. Hopefully, things will go back to normal soon. I really hope so because I'm having  blogging withdrawals. Oh yeah, and I also managed to sprain my ankle. How you ask? When I was at a baby shower, I was wearing heels and I missed a step. I know, silly right.  So now I have to wear this lovely wrap.

Okay, break is over. Get back to work.

Remember me?

I feel like I have neglected my blog. Has that ever happened to you? You start feeling  guilty when you just take a few days off and by days off, I mean you are just too busy with the kids, work, life and not that blogging is not important, but we all know how everything can get so complicated in a matter of seconds. I, however, have to be honest, this was not my case. I was just too tired.  Is that wrong?

I will let you know that Christmas was a complete success. My son got everything that he wanted and more. I hosted my first ever Christmas breakfast.  It was a last minute change of plans, but sometimes we get so busy planning everything that we forget to enjoy it. Well, this year we said " the hell with plans."

We were suppose to go to my brother and sister in law's house for breakfast,  we did that last year and it turned out so well that we said "  hey lets do that again". Anyways, the point is that we ended up having everyone over at our house and it was fun.  I will give you a quick recap:

Ralphy woke up at  6:00am  to open gifts. Yes, 6 :00am. He was so excited and I was so excited for him that I have to admit, I didn't really mind that it was still dark out.  By 7:00a, all the gifts were open and daddy had to take the munchkin for a ride on his new bike. By 10:00a, I  started making breakfast, which by the time everyone else came over, it was more like brunch. Since breakfast was not really planned, I had to  look through my fridge to see what I can whip up. So, I took it back to the basics.  On the menu, scrambled eggs, bacon, Cuban toast ( think of French bread , but flakier and with lots of butter), roasted potatoes, sausage, orange juice, coffee and  of course mimosas. We were all very full and happy campers.

So there you have it folks. This was my Christmas , well, most of it.  I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday. It came and went in a blink of an eye.   Now the  big question is:

Who's ready for 2011???
