My Inspiration

Ever since I started my blog, people have been asking me " what made you start blogging?" or " I didn't know you liked to write."   Well, I've always enjoyed writing; when I was younger, I use to write in my diary and my  journals every single day, especially when I was really upset. I would write about boys, school and all of my "problems".   My mom used to tell me that I should write a book and she still does. I would always tell her "what would I write about?."  Until one day, I was bored out of my mind because hubby bought a new video game. Yes, that's all it took, a video game.

I should first mention that I started blogging on November 9, 2010;   that's when I wrote  my first post ever.
It was a very scary experience for me because this was the first time I wrote for the world to see, up until then the only reader and the only person that I wrote for was myself.   I started thinking about what I would write about?, what inspires me? and  nothing inspires me more than my family and being a mom.

As a first time mom, to say that my son inspires me is a pretty common feeling.  He not only inspires me to write, he also inspires me to try new things, to work harder, to be a better daughter, to be a better wife and to be a better person in general.  I feel the need to share my thoughts, my happy moments and even my not so happy ones and whenever I think for a second that no one will read or no one will be interested then at least it would be something to show him when his older, something that I can say to him "look, these are the things I use to think about or talk about when you were a baby."

I can also say that my family inspires me.  I can tell you that I am the person that I am today because of my mom,  so I can definitely say she inspires me. She inspires me to be strong, independent and to always have faith in myself.  My hubby inspires because  the love we have for each other inspires me;  we  made this wonderful little person together and I got my second chance at happiness because of him.  If you want to know why I say I got my second chance, you would have to read   run away bride..kind of  and  Run away bride.. kind of part 2 .  Another inspiration is the relationship I have with my brother.  We share a special bond that is hard to even explain, but if I could describe it in one word it would be unconditional.

I thank God every day for them and for all the people and friends in my life because they truly do inspire me. It would take many, many posts to mention them all.

Please share your thoughts, what inspires you to write?.   I'm looking forward to reading your responses.

Xoxo,

Alex

Aww thanks for sharing your inspirations! What inspires me to write? To bring a voice to a somewhat silent demographic. To show that younger single mothers can succeed and be great women and mothers. My daughter of course is my ultimate inspiration, through her presence I have a fire under me that noone can cease. Writing is my therapy, my outlet, my way of connecting with others whom can support me and I can support.

I blog because that is how I deal with any feelings, emotions, fears, excitement, etc that I feel. It's also a way to capture my world for my little girls to read someday. I love your blog!

So you haven't blogged for very long yet, you are doing fantastic though!
Must be the wonderful people in your life!

My sister started blogging and got me into it. More than a year later we finally realized we have to separate blogs with a common theme.
So since October we are writing a blog together (we call it "artsy ants"), one of the few things we can do together while living in different continents!
It's all about artsy and crafty stuff, hobbies we have in common. With our blog we inspire each other and now even have a few followers which we are thrilled about!
